Maybe it's because the viewpoint is third person and the mini-map is off to the side, whereas in DOTA 2, people are very aware of the significance of losing or gaining a tower but players in Smite seem utterly clueless. You end up having to carry people with a 1:13 and 3:15 kill-death ratio ( real stats from a game ) while also having to write a thesis in the chat channel about the fact that your 0:6 k/d with Thor, during the late game ( in a different game ) doesn't matter, since you have single-handedly done 7,300 structure damage. You end up with people being rewarded for going AKF and sitting in base, not contributing. You end up with people, who have level 10 mastery in God, who are not very good with their characters. You gain experience, regardless of a team win or loss, which contributes to your God Mastery level. I was sold on the art direction, which is beautiful and the concept of leagues, levels and mastery ( which is an illusion ). I'm a member of an esport gaming group so the charge is laughable but that goes to show that you can be trolled to death by team mates filing false reports. I was charged with "Intentional Feeding". There is no way to appeal the suspension. There is no way to This review was deleted so I'm reposting it: I ended up boycotting the game after my account was suspended for 72 hours. Some of them just don't look good, which is fine, I can just stay away from them, but some of the skins are just childish and ridiculous, which really bugs me out. The biggest complaint I have, is that most (sadly) of the skins for the heroes are just awful. So far, the community also seem a bit better than Dota 2. The skill-cap is high, but the game is more forgiving than other similar games, at least in my experience. I feel that there is a higher possibility of a comeback, and the matches end a lot quicker, which is a welcome change of pace, since some Dota-games can really drag on. I also really like that they have distinguished themselves from other Mobas (at least Dota), not only in the 3rd-person-perspective, but in terms of how the matches play out. The multiple game-modes is quite refreshing, and I like the tempo of the game. I am still quite new to the game, and have only tired a handful of the heroes, but so far I am really enjoying myself. So, yeah, that's all I got.Having almost 2000 hours of time played in Dota 2, I decided to finally give this game a try, since some of my friends have played it off and Having almost 2000 hours of time played in Dota 2, I decided to finally give this game a try, since some of my friends have played it off and on for the last couple of years. Early game that'll do about 50% of their health and same late game if you get soul reaver. Try to memorize how long it takes for them to come down from the sky so you can land your 1 in combination when they fall down. Your ult will have a 33/36 cooldown and so just spam it on the enemy as much as possible why they ask to themselves "HOW IS IT UP ALREADY AGAIN?" However, if you want to go ultra troll and damage go CDR boots first item Breastplate of Valor second, Voidstone Third and Soul Reaver 4th. If they don't have much poke get Watcher's Gift because you'll get more $$$.īuild: Get CDR boots first item then Sovereignty 2nd and Heartward Amulet 3rd. If they have a poke heavy lane or lots of DOTS (Sylvanus, Xball, Cupid) get Mark of the Vanguard, Hand of the Gods active and 3-4 health, 2-3 mana pots. So level your abilities: 1, 2, 1, 3, 4, 1, etc. Starting off get your 1 first and your 2 second. Once your first ability is rank 4 max out your yawn and then go back to your 1. Get a point into your ultimate whenever you can. ![]() ![]() IF you get it to rank 5 it will kill the wave and you don't want to deny your ADC last hits and stacks. What 2 DO: Get your first ability to Rank 4 (the dash). but other supps will shine more however he is really cheesy so he has that going for him. He isn't played too much in competitive scenarios since his lane clear isn't too good and he really shines only in midgame. ![]() then they nerfed him and now I don't play him anymore but I am in Diamond in leagues conquest so I'll tell ye what I know. Kumbha was released as I started playing smite so it was love at first sight.
